I've posted on it before, and as noted elsewhere, things are a bit busy. Nevertheless, while I can certainly understand why it may not be the biggest story on the front page of the New York Times - heck, even Google has a small front page icon for it - it's not there above that fold.
It's been 17 years. They want us to forget. Maybe our own bureaucrats have far more impact on why half these goatfuckers are around to attack us in the first place, and there may even be other players in the geopolitical stupidity that led to 9/11, but the west has been at war with Islam, hell, to be more accurate, Islam has been trying to take over the west, since near its inception.
It takes two sides to make peace, and only a handful of dedicated assholes to make sure one side doesn't.
The Didact has more worth reading.
